Okay boys and girls, we need to have a chat. I love forced fantasy. It gets my mojo running and then some. But I think that it is important that we actively recognize what it is that we are putting into our minds. Now I know we're all adults here, and we're all capable of recognizing the line between fantasy and reality. Much more likely is that they thought that this is what we, the porn consumers, wanted (which is sad in and of itself). I suppose it all comes down to motive. In this fictional world, the world presented as our fantasy, why is this happening. In a good rape fantasy the answers are simple. Desire. Man wants woman, man takes woman (or woman takes woman, or man, or goat, you get the idea). Another motive might be revenge. Someone who feels sexually wronged avenges themselves in the most carnal way possible. This is fine (for fantasies). But when the motive becomes "She's a foreigner/minority/all women really want it" there is a problem. If we were to allow the image of a middle eastern woman being violently raped by soldiers to take root in our fantasies it would have an impact on how we percieved the world. All I'm saying is that we should all watch what we fantisize about. In many ways our fantasies (what we might like to do) define us more then our actions (what we feel we can do). And before you say it I am aware that most people would never act upon their fantasies that would harm another. What I'm saying is that whether you would act on it or not, having such a fantasy will change the way you see the world. Which in turn will change how you behave. I'm rambling now. Did I get through to anyone? Or did you all already know this stuff? Fuck it. I'll hop off my soap box now...
